Stimulating the economy

Now that the restrictions are easing, Randy and I are stimulating the economy - a lot! A trip to a new Goodwill netted some unusual kitchen items, we got a tv at Sam's, and today we introduced Larry and Linda to Rennigers'. The shop owners are really glad to be open again. We bought a decanter at a shop that really knows how to encourage customers!
When our feet got tired of walking around Rennigers', we cruised Mt. Dora for a restaurant and chose Las Palmas for Cuban fare. It turns out they don't serve "lunch" on the weekends, just dinner portions with dinner prices. The prices were one thing; the other thing was handling such big portions in the middle of the day! Doggie bags for everyone.
So glad for the opportunity to get together with friends again!

Easing back to 'normal'

Time to ease back to a more normal life (not that we've ever been called normal). A good way to do that is to get together for a friendly game of Tock. Well, it would have been friendly if the guys hadn't beat the ladies, two games to one. It was worth it, though, to hang out with these folks again!
But apparently some of the new habits are hard to shake.

Kitty CBD substitute

I just found the container of catnip that I bought for Missy last Christmas. She LOVES it. Makes her very happy and a little sleepy. I wonder if this is what it's like to do drugs?

Nobody loves love-bugs

Ah, summer in Florida - time for those awful love bugs. You'd think that the huge numbers getting killed on the highway would reduce their numbers. But every year there are plenty to cover windshields and bumpers.

Working on a mobile home is like working on an RV. Nothing is square, nothing is standard, nothing is level, and NOTHING is easy.
