Hurricane Florence missed us but for about 30 minutes on the 19th we got a really fierce storm here. The wind was roaring loudly and blowing the rain almost horizontally. It passed through quickly but later I discovered that it left us a reminder....once again, it looks like we have a tree in our backyard where no tree should be.
Once more we were blessed that it fell aside, not damaging the deck, just some of the fence.
But this limb is way too big to be falling like this. We have already trimmed the tree as far as we can, and have been asking the park manager to trim it higher. They need to take this seriously.
