Big Bird

The big Blue Heron that eats across the canal from us stops by every day to see if there is anything on the menu that day. He sits on the dock roof over there and looks for his buddy, while our cat Missy sits in her window seat and watches the bird.

This evening Randy called me outside to see the Heron sitting on our dock roof. He saw Randy fishing and decided to try his luck on this side of the water. 

Such a beautiful bird. But up this close, when he looks straight at me, he looks knock-kneed and goofy!
