The start of Snapper Season

It's Red Snapper season! Randy got up at 2:15 am to meet up with Jim and get to Daytona in time to get a spot on a ship called The Super Critter. It took them 30 miles out in the Atlantic, where they found some really good fishing. They were only allowed to keep one Red Snapper each but when they are this big, one is enough! As an added bonus, Randy got a Mango Snapper, which can't compare to the Reds in size and color but is very good eating.
This reminds me of the halibut we enjoyed in Alaska. Randy didn't get a chance to go fishing that time, but he sure did a great job of cooking it!
