We checked into the hotel and went out for dinner. Whole Foods and the Cheesecake Factory are close by but both were a bit disappointing - a lot more generic that they used to be. Fortunately Cold Stone still good. We spent a restless night, followed by an early breakfast at the hotel so we could arrive at the Dr. Gibbs' office at at 7:30.
Dr. Devon and Dr. Gibbs both saw Randy to discuss things this could be but first more tests were needed, starting with a CT scan with contrast. Nothing show up on that other than a couple of normal lung noduals. His lungs and kidneys ok and no more lesions were found. They think Randy has Multiple Myeloma, which Dr. Gibbs is said is treatable now. It's what we though all along but it still came as a shock. Krystal will schedule a Pet scan for next Monday and a Biopsy on Tuesday.
We headed home, stopping at a clinic on the way out of Gainesville for some more blood tests. I think there will be a lot of blood tests in the future.
