Holland windmills and Delft frits

Sometimes the company jet flew to and from Brussels over a weekend. It's just a little over 100 miles from Brussels to Delft, so we decided to fly to Belgium and drive from there to Delft. We passed through Holland's green fields, populated with fat, fluffy sheep and irrigation canals. In Holland, however, irrigation canals carry water out of the fields, not in. In some fields there are scenic windmills, still in use, pumping that water out to the sea.
In Delft we looked at shops with the famous Delft Blue potter, but the only thing we bought were french fries. In Delft they are called frits, and street venders serve them in paper cones, with mayonnaise. And they are EXCELLENT.
