Chillin' in Branson

Monday morning everyone met at Steak and Shake for breakfast before going our separate ways, and Randy R. and Kris generously offered us the use of their condo. Yesterday I'd heard that Mom fell, so we will go to Washington before heading home. But since I knew she was doing OK, a couple of days with no agenda seemed like a God-send, and we gratefully accepted their offer.

They all headed out and Randy and I moved from our hotel into the Condo. The first thing we did was take a 2 hour nap! The stress of Hurricane Irma and Mom's accident had just drained us. When we were ready to face the day, there were a ton of things to do in the area but we stayed low-key, going to an outlet mall and getting Randy some shoes. Sometime during the day we heard from Pete and Donna that our house was OK - no power, but still there!

For dinner we took Randy R's suggestion and went to Danna's BBQ. And it was exactly what we wanted - lots of good comfort food. This restaurant is a keeper!
