Spanish scenes

Every time we headed out on a road trip, we drove through amazing country, different than anything we have in the US. Between cities the road cuts through rural scenes, often including animals as beasts of burden, reflecting the smaller scope of farming in this area.
There are beautiful views all along the way, whichever way we go.
And beautiful old buildings, usually churches. These doors have seen centuries of changes.
Every town, even the very small ones, have at least one of these, still in use.
This one had a burial area behind it, with the most decorated columbarium wall I've seen.
On one of our trips somewhere, we found some old ruins. I think we saw a plaque that associated this place with Napoleon, but I'm not sure. I suppose it could be - there was the Peninsular War around 1813, when the Duke of Wellington tried to take San Sebastian from the French. At any rate, we had fun exploring.
