Original Sand Crab Tavern

Last evening we joined Ken, Patty and Rick at Dan and Ashley's for dinner. Ashely had frozen the leftover pulled pork from the memorial dinner, so she added some buns and beans and invited us all over. While we were eating, we talked about food. Randy suggested we go to the Original Sand Crab Tavern for dinner the next evening.

So tonight we got there by around 6 pm, and just in time. There was a note on the door saying they were not seating anyone after 6 tonight. When the waitress seated us, she told us that because the kitchen was short staffed, they were only serving fish-and-chips, and the mixed seafood dinners, which Randy and I call a Low Country Boil. We ordered a couple of those: crab legs, claws, shrimp, crawdads, sausage, corn on the cob and potatoes, cooked together and dumped from the pot onto the paper-covered table.
